NAGRI PRACHARAK PUSTAKALAYA (Completed)
We have taken 1st initiative by developing and re-opening a Library by name of “Nagri Pracharak Pustakalaya” which was in existence but it was not operational from last 20 years located at vill+post-Veer BhumiBerain, via-Narma, PS-Hathauri, Muzaffarpur (Bihar) and the same was inaugurated in the presence of Member of Parliament of Muzaffurpur district, and from then onwards Unmukt Udaan Education Council is taking care of issuance of newspapers & different types of monthly magazines, Books in the library, library Maintenance and Monthly Honorium to the one person deputed as local librarian. We feel glad to share that 25-35 members are visiting library regularly from surrounding villages.
MIDDLE SCHOOL BERAIN, Muzaffarpur (Work in Progress)
The school for students of 1st till 8th standards, located in Muzaffarpur district is required renovation and construction because currently the school has lack of infrastructure including Benches & Desks for students and fans. The washrooms are extremely in bad conditions. The school has no facility of pure drinking water for children. This internal bad condition of the school has lead to lack of faith in the school and which has resulted in decline in number of students continuously. They consist only 10 Classrooms which are lying vacant. Our team members are closely working with Headmaster, Teachers of Middle School, Berain for making it a one of best School of the District.
Unmukt Udaan Education Council has donated classic furniture (set of 75 bench and desk along with 5 set of table and chair) for entire present strength of 300 students costing Rupees 325000/- on 24th December 2019. After the selection of designs and colours by our leader it was prepared under the supervisions of local area carpenters. Further, we are working for Planting, Gardening, Water System, Washrooms, finishing and repairing and renovating the school floors and Black Board. We are in coordination with local Panchayat, Government Officials while focusing on motivating and providing technology to teachers. We are working on these lacuna's and putting are efforts in making Middle School a one of the best schools of the District with the help of the locals, school staff and government officials while providing resources and monetary contributions and support by us.
GHRBHARA LIBRARY (Yet to Commence)
A village namely “Ghrbhara”,Muzaffarpur where we found this old library. It was built in 1940 but it is closed and in dead condition from past 15 years. The distorted premises and the land which it belongs to have lost the capacity to serve due to lack of renovation and maintenance. The founding members has felt a great pain to see such condition and have connected with the heirs of the founding members of library and the Gram Panchayat of concern village, who have assured to contribute in renovating and are ready to join hands with Unmukt Udaan Education Council. Where we will take care of issuance of newspapers & different types of Monthly Magazines, Books in the Library, Library Maintenance and Monthly Honorium to Librarian (incharge) to bring the library back in operational condition.
CHAUMOKH LIBRARY (Yet to Commence)
We are working on the other project of operating and maintaining the library in village CHAUMOKH in Muzaffurpur which is closed for last more than 5 years due to inadequate resources, absence of library books, librarian etc. We will provide furniture, supply of books, magazines, newspapers and bear the librarian salary and the running cost thereof.
HIGH SCHOOL BERAIN, Muzaffarpur (Yet to Commence)
This School is for students from XI to XII standards, located in Muzaffarpur district is suffering materially with the broken and bad condition of building and the students are bound to study in the porch (Veranda) of the schools. Also, it was noticed during visits that 75% infrastructure of school has got damaged and being a very old building, now it has left with no roof. The conditions of class rooms are indecent and cannot afford the whole strength of students sitting in one class, ultimately which makes teachers helpless to address on the black board. The lack in amenities has led to decline in number of teachers associated with school from 13 to 7 including the number of students. Further, there is one Computer Lab where approx 20 computers are already installed but it has remained close for more than two years due to lack of teacher in the school.
Carrying the burning desire for renovating the building of High School, Berian Government School by activating the entire system in coordination with school committee MLAs, Member of Parliament, Headmasters because 75% of the building is substantially damaged. Our officials have visited the school along with engineers for making designs, layout & map and the cost estimation for the project. We wish to make it one of highly equipped exemplary Government School.
